We've been very fortunate to have the teachers, paras, nurse and staff at Cherokee that we have. As in my prior page of Special Education, you don't always find that. At Cherokee, my two younger boys are in a CBD {Communication-Behavior-Disorder} Class. It is a self-contained class, with other autistic children. It is staffed with para support, OT and PT. Kristine Newcomer and Linda LaPietra are the teachers my boys have. God's Angels...if you will. :)  To the CBD Teachers Kristi Newcomer and Linda LaPietra, along with also Judy Becker and Nora Barringer, and Paras Nina, Zita, Bonnie, Mary, and OT, PT, Speech, Nurse;Judy Frey, Principal Dr. Linda Tinsley, and the entire Cherokee Elementary Staff: Thank You!  |
